Stay LITT is a new consulting agency seeking to grow, partner and serve in Chicago and surrounding Areas.
Monica Griffin-Monroe, CEO and Senior Consultant, has over 2 decades of educational experience. She has served and worked with Charters, Public Elementary schools and High Schools in the Chicago area.
Monica has provided services to CICS Bucktown Elementary, Perspectives Leadership HS, EPIC Charter HS, Bass Elementary, Brunson Elementary, Barnard Elementary, Randolph Elementary, Johnson Elementary, De Diego HS, Lindblom HS & Lindblom Academic Center and Bogan Computer Technical HS.
It starts with scheduling a 20-min Introductory meeting with Stay LITT LLC to share your needs and explore consultant services to meet your needs.
Complete the questions when scheduling, then log in on your scheduled date and time to chat, learn and determine next steps. You can also get started with an email to Monica Monroe, CEO and Senior Consultant of Stay LITT LLC.
Occasionally, we can fill a last-minute professional development need, but in most situations, we are scheduling our consultants to lead customized training 4-6 months in advance.
This is especially true if you are embarking on a bigger initiative that requires several, carefully-scheduled sessions
After a school has determined services and secured dates for customized transformation trainings and services, Stay LITT LLC will then draft a contract that outlines the details, such as start/end times, itinerary, topics, etc.
Once the contract is complete, the school contact person and Stay LITT’s project manager will work closely to plan for a powerful experience
Stay LITT LLC specializes in non-content specific best-practice teaching strategies—we are not a boxed curriculum. For this reason, on-site consultations and training never require the purchase of any specific resources.
Occasionally, we recommend resources to assist teachers with implementation or the integration of technology and websites for tools to foster implementation, capture and measure data
We want to help you maximize the time with your Stay LITT consultant so that you can capture the most value for your investment.
With that in mind, the day could include a variety of services inclusive of a Transformation Professional Learning Seminar, mentoring sessions, Implementation Coaching Sessions, 60-minute grade-level rotations, support and contributions to administrative planning/leadership meetings, classroom observations* for data collection and debrief or whatever other option we can schedule in a typical school day.
There’s a lot that can be gained when an outside consultant conducts classroom observations and offers feedback. And while our consultants can perform this role, we prefer to postpone this type of support until several interactions have taken place with teachers at your school.
It is imperative to build trust and rapport among teachers before observations of classrooms so that observations will result in helpful data collection and coaching from the consultant to support, not a critical evaluation
